Did you hear that The Stills broke up or that Broken Social Scene has ended their magnificent run? Wait, wait do not cry. Everything will be just fine now that Liam O’Neil and Dave Hamelin(of The Stills) and Justin Peroff(BSS) have teamed up to form Eight And A Half. See, I told you it would be alright. Based off these two songs released ahead of their LP I am instantly in love. Two great tastes combined into one. If this is how it’s gonna be guys then I’ll see you outside your window at two in the morning. But I kid. A quick description of what you are in for-Lush electronic pop jogging alongside an ambling drumbeat blanketed with sympathetic vocals. Yeah, I know. It does sound awesome. Album to be released April 12th on Arts & Crafts. Karnsarnit that’s so far away and stuff.
