Most of you should know who Sleigh Bells are and their powerful guitar driven music with Alexis’ rap hoppy lyrics flowing strong like bull over them. Well Philadelphia super DJ Diplo takes their track “Demons” off their album Reign Of Terror and makes it let’s say demonier(yeah that’s a word, at least for now it is). See for yourself. Hit it!!!!

There are certain songs that conjure images of pure and raw sexuality that get the mind racing and the libido amped. “Seconds” is such a song. I know once you hear it you will be all like “Damn, I gots to play this for my lady the next time we get all amorous and shizz!” or something to that extent. Ghost Loft is Danny Choi from L.A. and although he currently only has a couple tracks out he is planning to release an EP by the end of the year. Check out “Seconds” below and then his ultra sexy remix of JJ’s “Beautiful Life”. Go grab your girl/guy and press play.

Elevator up!

Led by Stephen Docker ,who has a voice that lends itself perfectly to the pop genre, and the upbeat and happy tunes “Climbing the Walls” and “Eskimo Boy” these guys are gonna break big very shortly. Their self titled EP released in April of last year and is the perfect pick-me-up album and one to play at your next party or book club meeting or church group function or …..you get my meaning.

Non Tiq is Nora Lindqvist from Northern Sweden. Her viewpoint on music is this- “Music is a weapon. A weapon against the darkness inside of me but also against the loneliness of being a human. Music turns the most boring days into ecstasy trips”. Her sound is poppy but mixed with dark elements. Danceable yet sadness looms. I guess her darkside likes to shake it’s thang once in a while. She was to release an LP called “Lovemachine” this past fall but apparently has run into some snags and is delayed at the moment. Fortunately we have this track along with some great remixes to bide our time for the LP release.
Non Tiq “Quiet(Addeboy vs. Cliff Remix)”
This video is the original version of the song and should be a Sherwin-Williams commercial.
When I first heard this I cried I was so happy…….and then I preceded to play it 14 times in a row and get my cardio dance on. Certain songs just hit you that special way that gets your adrenalin flowing and energy levels maxed. This is in my 5 hour energy mix. Clock Opera is an avant pop group from London who’s debut album will be released early 2012. Julien Plaisir de France is Julien Barthe a french DJ, music producer, remix artist who puts out massive dance floor jams that leave you sweaty and exhausted. Alot of his tunes are also under Plaisir de France. Crank this for your next workout or jog or zumba or tae bo(I think they still have this) or Denise Austin Buns of Steel workout. You will have the steeliest buns indeed!
Fantastic remix of Gotye’s “Hearts A Mess” off EP of same name/remixes. Supermayer is not another name for the best mayor around(spelling). They are an electroacoustic/folk/techno duo from out of Cologne, Germany. This track has an obvious reggae vibe and it works magically. Pass me another Red Stripe whilst I vibe on this!
